I assume they’ll be Origins only. No Masterverse Tcats…

I think I would prefer just MOTU versions of the Thundercats in their standard looks. Not like TMNT where they were MOTUed up versions. 

I would like humanoid Battle Cat and Panthor in the line…

Maybe Carnivus and Katrina could get figures, too…

I'm sure they'll get some sort of MOTU-ization in the line. It seems unavoidable. Still, I'm pumped! 

I imagine we'll see for : Lion-O (with He-Man-esque gear)?, Cheetara (Teela?), Panthro (MAA?), Tygra, Mumm-Ra (would we see his mummy form?), and probably the main Mutants. 

Like MR's mummy form, I wonder if we would see the Thunder kittens. Thye'd likely require new tooling, but maybe Mattel is planning on using any new tooling there for Cartoon Collection kids like Starchild?

@2uki the mutants are already a little MOTU so the wouldn't require much change, neither would any Thundercats characters really. Thundercats is already "Kitty He-Man" so there little to change other than story elements to bring them together.

Im all for this, UNLESS, they butcher the characters like the turtle line. Theres no need to mix things up with thundercats.

My theory is that this will be like the Classics vs DC sets. 

Origins 2-packs. Also like the Stranger Things 2-packs. 

One Thundercat vs one repaint/redeco of an existing Origins figure/character. 

More swapable parts. 

I would love if we got mini comics. I expect that if we do, it would be a new story, unrelated to the previous DC comic series. But since so many things haven't gotten new mini comics, I wouldn't hold me breath on getting Thundercats/MOTU mini comics. Also Dynamite has the Thundercats license.  

Another exciting announcement I never saw coming (I really thought the next team-up sub-line type of thing would be classic toy PoP to mix in with Origins). I bet we see things like Battle Cat Man, that CGI toyline variant of He-Man in the red Battle Cat-esque armor worked into the mix, etc. Not sure how they would Eternia-rize the ThunderCats (give Panthro Man-At-Arms style armor pieces? Would Cheetara look a little odd with some sort of riff on Teela's outfit on?), but I'm intrigued. Mostly I wonder things like, would we get a Kittrina figure via this line? A new take on Catra? Chief Carnivus? Panthor? There's a lot of cat-centric things going on in MOTU that seem like they'd be great fodder for a crossover line.
