Masterverse fans have been waiting a long time for the “Masters of the Universe” (1987) Live-Action Movie Blade Action Figure. Blade looks kind of happy if you ask us! And while collectors are still waiting to get this Evil Warrior in their hands, one lucky, awesome mega MOTU fan (and friend to For Eternia).... Mike aka Eternian Royalty on Instagram... just received his now! Yes, he was the lucky one to win a Masterverse “Masters of the Universe” (1987) Movie Blade Action Figure at the Mattel Creations REVEALED livestream event, signed by the stuntman extraordinaire and Blade actor himself.... Anthony De Longis! We wish he signed it…

Nice prize. I hope he doesn't plan on opening it.

Why do people still like this movie? It is a He-Man movie in name only. I can already tell the new movie will be a zillion times more faithful to the source material.

It took until I hit 40 that nostalgia set in. That's my excuse. But I vividly remember seeing this movie in theaters when I was a kid and actively hating it. Nothing was accurate except Dolph's physique. I did like the redesign of the Sorceress, Evil Lyn and Beast Man. And I liked the matte painting of Castle Grayskull. Frank Langella was also good but didn't really remind me of Skeletor. I'm much more forgiving now especially with the new movie and reports to how faithful it is, at least in asthetics.

I've never seen the movie and don't have much interest in it, but must still say this guy looks just great. Is there a release date set? A quick search said April (!), but I'm not seeing him up on Mattel Creation or BBTS.

Interesting here how the majority of the interactors decided to skip the figurine debate and rather talk about the movie it belongs to ... Signs of a future Peg Warmer figurine?

I remember making my parents sit through the credits because I was certain there'd be a safety message at the end.
