SEVERE DELAYS impact Mondo “Masters of the Universe” figures and more.

Things have not been good for Mondo in 2025.

With their parent company Funko enduring financial concerns with nearly a 70% decline at one point in their stock value (due to issues like struggling sales and fluctuating tariffs on Chinese imports), the impact is starting to show where Mondo figures are concerned.

Mondo figures are manufactured in China

Now consumers everywhere who have pre-ordered, paid and are waiting for their Mondo 1:6 Scale Action Figures are receiving notices of major delays.

Mondo’s Buzz-Off, originally estimated to be released May 2025 has been pushed back to August 2025.

Mondo’s Evil-Lyn, originally estimated to be released June 2025 has been pushed back to September 2025.

X-Men ’97 – Wolverine 1/6 Scale Figure Timed Edition was pushed back into October 2025. Even the new The Real Ghostbusters – Peter and Samhain Collector’s Pack – Timed Edition 1:12 Scale Figures has been delayed for months.

Will there be more delays? What does the future hold for Funko, Mondo and the 200X He-Man 1:12 Scale action figure line? Will Funko ever move their main manufacturing into another country?

While it certainly can get worse, some analysts are optimistic that a recovery in movie box office revenue worldwide and a loosening of tariffs / tariff deal should increase the demand and ultimately benefit Funko (that heavily deals in licensed products made in China.)

Only time will tell.

We’ll see you next time.

  1. Don’t really see the issue with paying for the item and not receiving it immediately. I’ve always gotten my product in the end even if its been delayed.  They are made to order after all. I do hope that they delay some of the other new pre-order items first until these other products get shipped. I do think that we’re looking at an August pre-order for She-Ra and Swift Wind right now with Man-E-Faces coming out in the Fall.
