Written by Danielle Gelehrter recently sent me a digital copy of an unpublished mini comic script by Michael Halperin, called “Ring of Dreams.” It dates to June 16, 1983, meaning that it likely would have been published sometime in 1984. Had it been published, it would have been Faker’s first mini comic appearance. It may have been cancelled because the Faker figure itself was cancelled sometime in 1984, ultimately to be reissued in late 1986.
