The new “Masters of the Universe” Movie from Amazon MGM and Mattel Films is currently filming in Wells, Somerset, England reportedly for the next couple days.

We are hearing that the Wells Cathedral has been fully closed off to the public (but onlookers can still watch the film crew from a distance.)

Several vehicles have also been spotted with “Masters of the Universe” branding, but no reports yet of any Heroic or Evil Warriors on set.

However, considering the production has the area blocked off reportedly for multiple days, there is a good chance that some actors will be there.

Thanks to the amazing Dale for the scoop!
We’ll see you next time!
Interesting. Judging by the architectural style of this monument, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that they used it as a model for Castle Grayskull, adding some gothic elements.
@onlyoneskeletor My mind immediately thought of the royal palace but I see what you mean mate.
@oneskeletor @jonathanweis I could see it being either. I thought it was the palace at first.
If there are windows the green screen could be for filming on the inside looking out.
One plane ticket to England please. Nevermind. Screw the ticket.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That is green screen in the front. I think it will be Castle Grayskull.
This movie is going to be amazing!
@BoneZone I too immediately thought of the royal palace. Now that you mentioned the green screen, it might be Castle Grayskull. Either way it’s going to be amazing!
This place is magnificent and perfect for MOTU. The interior is more impressive than the exterior!
JAW DROP! That place is unreal. When was it built?
@gettinhighlander It’s a medieval Gothic jobby, from the 13th century or thereabouts.
@owenmorton I wish we had cool places like that on America
@gettinhighlander American natives didn’t build permanent structures
We just built ballparks like Wrigley Field and Fenway Park. 😂😂
Stunning. I’m team royal palace and the green screen is being used to extend the size. I’m happy to see this location because it says to me they’re taking MOTU seriously and giving it the grandure it deserves.
