Actor Artie Wilkinson-Hunt has been cast as YOUNG ADAM in the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie!

We have new “Masters of the Universe” Movie casting news!

The Hunt Academy for Young Actors (HAYA) has officially announced that actor Artie Wilkinson-Hunt has landed the role of “Young Adam” in the new Masters of the Universe Live-action Movie currently filming!

Here is the official announcement:

"We are beyond thrilled to announce that our very own Artie has landed the role of Young Adam in the forthcoming Masters of the Universe film! 

This is an incredible achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder! Artie’s hard work, dedication, and talent have truly paid off, and we can’t wait to see him bring this iconic character to life on the big screen.

Back in February, the following official synopsis was released, giving fans an idea where a Young Prince Adam would fit in this new live-action movie:

SYNOPSIS: "The film is based on the popular 1980s cartoon series, and this iteration revolves around 9-year-old Prince Adam crashing to Earth in a spaceship and being separated from his Magical Sword – the only link to his home on Eternia. After tracking it down almost two decades later, Adam is whisked back across space to defend his home planet against the evil forces of Skeletor. But to defeat such a powerful villain, Prince Adam first will need to uncover the mysteries of his past and become He-Man — the most powerful man in the universe."

Of course, since then, we understand there has been some rewrites to the “Masters of the Universe” script, so we are not clear how accurate the above synopsis remains.

Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
