Possible GOAT MAN Makeup Tests revealed for ”Masters of the Universe” Movie!

Ten days ago there was a great deal of excitement within the fan community thanks to some Evil Warrior casting news for the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” movie, coming from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films.

That news revealed that actor Jared Leto was cast as Skeletor, Sam C. Wilson was cast as Trap Jaw, Kojo Attah would star as Tri-Klops, and professional strongman Hafthor Bjornsson landed the role of Goat Man.

Since actor costume and makeup tests are requirements in pre-production prior to filming (and why we saw Camila Mendes with Teela red hair so soon), we decided to look back and see if we can discover any other costume tests… and we believe we found some for Goat Man!

Hafthor Bjornsson, who will be playing Goat Man, is an Icelandic professional strongman who is widely regarded as one of the greatest strength athletes of all time… and he’s covered in many tattoos.

Well back on December 5th, before the Goat Man casting announcement hit the public consciousness, Hafthor Bjornsson took to social media to reveal two interesting photos while saying “Cooking something. Stay tuned“. One featured his tattoos covered in makeup:

And another photo featuring some bright red makeup that really evokes the character of Goat Man. (He also shaved his facial hair, a necessity when applying special effects makeup prosthetics):

So is the red makeup another layer to cover up his tattoos (which are already covered up in this image?) Or will this iteration of Goat Man have bright red skin and we are looking at the beginning of at test how actor Hafthor Bjornsson looks under red bodypaint?

Traditionally, the character of Goat Man had caucasian skin under red armor, but as we know in Hollywood, characters often vary from what they look like in movies… compared to their comic or cartoon counterpart. For now, we will have to wait and see what this exactly is.

Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is reportedly slated to begin this January 2025 with the movie itself scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
