Oh shit that is impressive looking for 20 bucks.
I hope they make a Queen Marlena. I would buy that.
I guess it’s to make the style across the line consistent but I cannot understand why characters will deck themselves out in protective armour but choose to leave their thighs exposed and unprotected. At least put on a pair of trousers. This NE King Randor had the sense to put on a long sleeved shirt/tunic under his breast plate so why not a pair of matching tights at least? If anything, the New Eternia line is a good opportunity to revamp these elements.
@mergryphon Randor looks to be wearing tights based on these photos. His legs are painted a different colour than his skin. It has a more of an orange hue.
@elder you may be right but if so, poor choice of colour/hue. Too close to the skin’s and also, red tunic with orange tights? Yucks… doesn’t he have a royal fashion advisor?
If I came away with anything after watching the Filmation cartoon it was the royal fashion designer was colour blind.
@mergryphon Dude, He-Man is 95% exposed
All of the Heroic Warriors like to armor up their chest and then leave their nuggets unprotected in a furry loincloth.
Well, well, well … At least there are more display options in sight, not to mention the poseability of the figure. Thanks to the rigid capes provided by Motuc, mine can still manage the required posture dynamics I imposed on him on the rock stairs of Snake Mountain.
