New Eternia Playset minicomic continues original 1986 story, 40 years later

Over the past few days, fans have finally started receiving the long anticipated Masters of the Universe Origins toyline Eternia playset. A product of a successful crowdfunding campaign launched in late 2022, this was a chance for adult collectors to finally own an updated replica of the what was considered to be the holy grail of Masters of the Universe vintage toy collecting.

Now back in 1986, the vintage Etenia playset came with its own minicomic titled “The Ultimate Battleground” which showed fans the hidden powerful history of Eternia’s buried three towers (as King Hiss and Skeletor hatched a plan to resurface them.)

Well now, 38 years later, that old story is continued in a 16 page minicomic titled “Battlefield Eternia” that comes included with the new Masters of the Universe Origins Eternia 2.0 playset.

Continuing not as much of a cliffhanger as this new minicomic claims it to be, “Battlefield Eternia” picks up where “The Ultimate Battleground” left off, 40 years later.
