Origins ”Cartoon Collection” Stratos & Mer-Man cross sell art featured on Teela & Trap Jaw cardbacks

A couple of weeks ago on our social media pages we shared a look at the upcoming Teela and Trap Jaw figures in-packaging from the “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” Origins “Cartoon Collection” action figure line.

At the time, we only had access to the front of the packaging. But now we have a look at the back of the packaging revealing not just new illustrations, but cross sell art for both an upcoming Cartoon Collection Stratos and Mer-Man figure as well.

Check it out!

One more closer look:

The Masters of the Universe Origins “Cartoon Collection” Teela, Trap Jaw, Stratos and Mer-Man figures should be available to consumers in early 2024. We’ll see you next time!

    1. The inclusion of the training robot with Teela is superb.

I hope they make a Game Master figure!! 😮

A road yet to be traveled by Mattel. Is this a favourite antagonist of yours?

Not sure I’d quite say favourite, but I do like his design and he was a memorable one-off villain. I’m all about seeing characters like that get immortalized in plastic, especially if they’ve never been done before. I was very disappointed that Classics didn’t get to many of those guys. I have hope that this new line will eventually start putting out deep cuts like Game Master once a lot of the A-listers have been done. The brand manager said we could look forward to rare characters showing up as figures…

It would be fun to see him paired up with Kraggox the Game Master’s champion.
There is also something to be said about spacing out your A-listers and inserting your deep cuts along the way. I know I am not the first one here suggesting it. Waiting until the tail end to drop them all at once strikes me like a deliberate act of toyline suicide.

    1. This Teela is going to be the best Filmation Teela yet.

Yes! She looks damn near perfect. I’m relieved that they fixed the “old" looking face that was shown at SDCC. Hard to believe it took this long to get a Filmation Teela figure that wasn’t fucked up somehow. 🤣

I am going to wait before crowning this one as the best but so far so good.

Hehe it only took 40 long years to finally get her right. It actually is a little depressing.
