In the fourth (and final issue) of the limited Dark Horse comic book series “Masters of the Universe: Forge of Destiny“, writer Tim Seeley and artist Eddie Nunez introduced many new stunning variants of the most powerful man in the universe… and his demonic foil.
With eight new variants in total, we are not going to reveal exactly why these alternate forms of He-Man and Skeletor were introduced in the conclusion of this year one prequel to Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution (you are just going to have to read it for yourself). But thanks to writer Tim Seeley on X, we now have names that we can put to their faces!
Check them out:
( 5 Skeletor and 3 He-Man Variants )
FEAR FIRE SKELETOR
SHADOW SHIVER SKELETOR
KNIGHT LIGHT HE-MAN
SUCKER-PUNCH SKELETOR
WHALE WARRIOR HE-MAN
DUNE DOOM SKELETOR
TEMPEST HE-MAN
BOLT BASHER SKELETOR
So which is your favorite variant? Let us know in the comments below.
We can only imagine that some of these wild variants of He-Man and Skeletor will be turned into action figures one day. We’ll see you next time!
Not really a fan of any of those tbh.
@daavid Some of them are really out there like the Killer Whale version.I do like the look of Knight Light He-Man but his name is such a groaner.
@kraken To be fair half the names in MOTU are groaners.
@elder lol, that’s true. I agree with @kraken about Knight Light He-Man looking kind of ok, but the others….. yikes.
I find the Fear Fire Skeletor visually interesting though a Ghost Rider derivative may be a valid criticism.
I pick Sucker Punch Skeletor because Skeletor has suckers for hands! Get it?
I like the “floating skull" motif on Skeletor.
I like the Knight Light He-Man, stupid name and all. Whale Punch He-Man (or whatever) is awesome for the sheer ridiculousness of it.
I’d be happy with any of these, really.
