Masterverse Wave 11 Core Figures Confirmed… and Skeletor wears a Crown?

By the Power of Grayskull!

Thanks to the Instagram account of Mattel’s Roy Juarez, not only do we have a better look at the exciting Masterverse packaging of four upcoming Masters of the Universe: Revolution and New Eternia figures, but on the back of that packaging, it officially confirms what the basic core figures of the next wave are!

So the basic core figures of Wave 11 can be officially declared as:

  • Revolution Sorceress Teela
  • New Eternia Man-At-Arms
  • New Eternia Trap Jaw
  • Revolution Skeletor (Skeletek)

This roster is doubly exciting to see because we finally have an official confirmation of the news we broke about these specific figures back on May 3rd (that article can be found HERE).

Now let’s take a closer look at the new Masterverse packaging for all four of the Wave 11 basic core figures:

Now if you notice in the packaging of the Revolution Skeletor (Skeletek) figure, you’ll see one of his accessories is a crown!

Now while it doesn’t quite match the monarchy crowns seen in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” or the footage shown of King Randor at the SDCC 2023 Roundtable Discussion for “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”….

… it does take us back to the impending doom teased in the teaser poster.

It doesn’t look good for perhaps the King or Queen!

We’ll see you next time!

  1. I’m not thrilled with the new packaging design so far. No more nice artistic rendition at the back of the box. Instead, we get a posed photograph of the toy itself. Yes, the front now shows the artistic rendition but is inherently limited due to the need for the transparent window. The window is also problematic in my opinion because it will now be difficult to see at one glance if there are any missing, damaged, or defective components. I ordered my first Skelegod from Amazon and when it arrived, it was obvious the power sword was missing because the transparent window showed everything. If I was shopping at a physical store, it would have made it easy not to select that box. Imagine if the sword were now hidden behind the front matter character art in the new packaging.

    1. @mergryphon You raise some quality points. These artists used to have a lot more real estate to make gallery quality illustrations. That’s now gone. These used to have a window to review the quality of the figure. That’s now severely hampered. Thankfully they carried over those pretty character illustrations on the binding. We still have that.
