1. MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVOLUTION WILL DEBUT ON NETFLIX IN EARLY 2024

Kevin Smith indicated that we won’t have to wait long next year to watch “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”. According to the entertaining showrunner, the anticipated series will be coming out in the early months of 2024. How early, we don’t know, but Kevin was giving off a vibe like January wasn’t even out of the realm of possibility. Kevin Smith also teased we may possibly learn its official release date this Fall.

2. DUNCAN GETS A NEW RANK

When we last left our heroes in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation”, Andra was promoted to the new rank of Man-at-Arms.

Andra as Man-At-Arms

Duncan, however, currently didn’t have a station. But according to Showrunner Kevin Smith, Duncan… most likely due to the impending war with Hordak… has been assigned a brand new rank. His title is now… MAN-AT-WAR!

Man-At-War was described to be wearing a new spectacular suit too, so we can’t wait for this brand new Duncan to be revealed!

3. GWILDOR WILL APPEAR IN THE SERIES

Yes, the lovable fan favorite, barbecue sauce drinking character played by the legendary Billy Barty in the 1987 live action-film “Masters of the Universe” will be gracing our screens (and our hearts) again in “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”.

New Revolution Masterverse Gwildor Figure Coming Soon!

And apparently there will be a history between Gwildor and Orko too. These tiny heroes, described to have a “frenemy” relationship, will certainly provide plenty of amusement for viewers of all ages!

4. ACTOR KEITH DAVID WILL PLAY THE ROLE OF HORDAK

No stranger to acting nor voice work animation, Actor Keith David, who’s probably most famous for his iconic roles in the John Carpenter films “The Thing” and “They Live”, will now be applying that brilliant, commanding voice of his to the ruler of the Evil Horde himself, Hordak.

And just wait until you hear his voice acting! Roundtable attendees were shown a great video clip where Keith David’s performance was dark, commanding and really harkens back to Josh Brolin as Thanos. It is really a brilliant piece casting!

5. MARK HAMILL AND WILLIAM SHATNER HAVE DIALOGUE TOGETHER

It is not only a feat to have the great Luke Skywalker and the great Captain Kirk in the same series together (a historic first for sure), but having their respective characters interact with each other is the real prize!

And that is exactly what Kevin Smith said he’s giving us, thankfully! Hamill’s Skeletor and Shatner’s yet-to-be-revealed role will interact and chew animated scenery together in Masters of the Universe: Revolution!

6. MORE CLASSIC CHARACTERS WILL APPEAR

Do you want to see more classic Masters of the Universe characters in “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”? Well your wish is Kevin Smith’s command, as the showrunner hinted there will be plenty of more fan-favorite characters making their debut in this series continuity.

San Diego Comic-Con Attendees even got to see a handful of these debuting characters in a couple clips from “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”, including….

Revolution Snout Spout
Revolution Rio Blast
Revolution Two-Bad

And there’s more beloved characters to come too, so buckle those seat belts as we anticipate the release of “Masters of the Universe: Revolution”!

7. HORDAK AND SKELETOR WILL FIGHT

One of the greatest disappointments of the Star Wars prequel films is we never saw Darth Maul and Darth Vader go Mano A Mano to decide who would be the one great apprentice to the evil Emperor.

Well in regards to main villians in Masters of the Universe: Revolution, there can only be one. Thankfully Kevin Smith revealed that fans will be getting an the epic battle between Hordak and Skeletor that we always wanted to see. And Executive Producer Ted Biaselli revealed that Hordak versus Skeletor will be on par in spectacle to the all out brawl we saw between Savage He-Man and Skelegod in “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” and we can’t wait!

#8. HORDAK WILL SNORT

That explosive sound, the one created by forcing breath through one’s nose that Hordak has iconically known for thanks to the 1985 Filmation series “Shera: Princess of Power” will be heard by Masters of the Universe fans again!

That’s right, Hordak will snort in “Masters of the Universe Revolution”, approximately about 4 or 5 times according to Executive Producer Ted Biaselli. Snort fans rejoice!

Well that’s it! We want to thank you for joining us today!
