New MASTERVERSE Trade Paperback Now Available for Pre-Order! Does it Reveal more upcoming stories for Masterverse comics beyond Issue 4?

Well this exciting! While only the first issue of the four comic anthology series “Masterverse” from Dark Horse comics has been released so far (available at comic book stores and digital retailers everywhere), pre-orders are now available for the “Masters of the Universe: Masterverse” Trade Paperback book!

Collecting Masterverse comic issues #1 through #4, the trade Paperback will reportedly be 104 Pages in length, which will likely extend beyond all four comics and leave room for additional art like variant covers or concept sketches. The release date is scheduled for September 19th, 2023.

Now the exciting part is, unlike previous trades like the terrific Tim Sheridan & Mindy Lee Dark Horse “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” collected release, this Masterverse Paperback is clearly being billed as a “Volume One”, suggesting that additional volumes are at least planned to be on the way.

Now when we sat down with the wonderful “Masterverse” writer Tim Seeley during the latest episode of the For Eternia Podcast, we inquired if there was a possible path to continue these comics (beyond the initial four issues that were announced) if it was successful, which Tim confirmed ecstaticly “Oh yes!” and revealed “the last story is practically begging for a continuation.”

Considering in that same Podcast we also learned these stories were written a long time ago and delayed, is it possible that Volume Two of the Masterverse comics is already in the works over at Dark Horse? It certainly sounds plausible, and we can’t wait to find out!
