We can work in time travel, Marlena crashed through a black whole which is often associated with time travel. Maybe they are searching for Marlena before she ever left Earth and the quest has to ensure certain events unfold as they did before.
Love it! You know, Kevin Feige from Marvel enjoyed a lot of success adapting Star Trek ideas into the MCU Infinity Saga, and based how I'm responding to this idea, I think it might be great for Motu too! 😀👍

Other than the 80s live action movie, has He-Man ever travelled to Earth?
Seems weird that it never happened, given that Marlena was from Earth (in most versions).

@costume-n00b Sources were indicating the new live-action Motu movie which stalled at Netflix was going to have a lot of scenes on Earth. 😮

Yep, living with Marlena on Earth and is suddenly needed on Eternia. "Woah, your tigers are green here?" Cue laughs. 😁
