I liked the last one, so I'm interested.

@kraken I didn't mind them but the callbacks were a common complaint in the negative reviews it received. Some reviewers said it was too much like the original.

I know it feels repetitive but try to look at it this way. Gozer was never killed in the first movie and the only way you can bring her back in a sequel is with Zuul and Vinz reopening that door.

I liked the last one quite a bit, so I'm looking forward to this one.

@dedset13 I found those two kids Phoebe and Podcast to be pretty fun leads. I think the future of the franchise can follow those two into adulthood.

I got my tickets! Is anyone else hyped to see Ghostbusters Frozen Empire this weekend?

I just came back from the theater. I didn't watch it yet but I picked up the AMC exclusive Ghost Trap Popcorn Bucket and the Stay-Puft Mini Cup. I've got tickets to see it Sunday with the family but I'm pretty sure the bucket and cup will be sold out by then. I can't wait to see it!

I didn't know about the Stay-Puft Mini Cup but you can buy a Slimer cup and Popcorn bucket online!

I had the pleasure of watching this this evening. Thoroughly enjoyed it. A great mix of the old cast and new cast giving us 11 ghostbusters on screen. Plenty of RGB inspiration for those who might notice. Totally recommend seeing it if you enjoyed Afterlife. There is a short and silly mid credits scene.

There is soooooo much to love. 

Fire dude is a completely new concept for Ghostbusters. I want a 4 issue comic series of him and Podcast exploring that whole thing. 

Yeah, I really hope this does well enough that we can get a Ghostbusters 6.

I love that the critics are having a right moan about it while all the fans and casual audiences are out there fully enjoying it for what it is.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Leads Box Office With $45 Million Debut

I saw Frozen Empire twice and I absolutely loved it. Please don't listen to the naysayers. Decide for yourself. If you loved The Real Ghostbusters cartoon as a child then I think you are going to love this too. It feels like they are steering in the cartoon's direction so I pray they make more. This movie was so good!

I will go even further and say I'd love to see a whole prequel movie about them. The Fire Masters, the Ancient Ghostbusters!

We may not get another Ghostbusters movie with this cast. Ticket sales dropped 65% in its second week.
