We have the Power!
This was fun. If Mattel doesn't announce a 200X line in Masterverse I do like the idea of Cam Clarke introducing New Eternia Snakemen figures.
I'm excited about potential announcements this week! I missed the post from @he-dad but just wanted to let him, and everyone else who has experienced something like this, know that I will keep his poor grandfather in law in my thoughts; it is his loss that he doesn't appreciate cool stuff.
But seriously... AJ said it well- you have the power to deny people like this the ability to get your goat. Doesn't mean it doesn't still happen. I can remember a lot of insecurity and red-faced moments in my adolescence when my classmates and friends told me I "must have too much time on my hands" because I spent a lot of time drawing, doodling, creating things instead of... whatever they were doing I guess? Confused me then because we all have the same amount of hours in a day; how I spend my time shouldn't bother you if it makes me happy (obviously, they were jealous ;))
Your hobby is for YOU; to make you happy. That's why they exist. The next time something like this happens to any of you, I hope you look them straight in the eye, strongly clasp their shoulder, and solemnly whisper "it's ok. I'm getting you a figure for your next birthday."
I have been waiting for the He-Man Powered Up and Tri-Sorceress figures forever. Those two, and the Orko Gwildor two pack, are the figures that are going to make me take the plunge into Masterverse, (well if I can convince my wife, or my daughter that they are good Grandfather's day gifts). I am also really afraid to go down that rabbit hole right now as space is tight lol.

That is response is freaking awesome. I wonder what my wife's grandfather would do with a figure if I got him one. Would he throw it in the garbage or would he keep it? If only I had the balls to do it. 🤣
People are awesome here. I feel cheered up. AJs conversation with his dead gramps made me crack up. It helps that my in-laws live so far away rofl
🇺🇸 SNOUT SPOUT FOR PRESIDENT 🇺🇸
This was a great episode. AJ hit it on the head as all have said we can hold the power to let others make us feel bad. I struggle sometimes with my myriad of collections. Lucky I have a wife that loves me and supports it, (even when she complains if we have to move). I loved the seance bit.. I cracked up so hard and had to pull over.
