The Go-Go's (Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Jane Wiedlin, Kathy Valentine & Gina Schock) have their own FUNKO based on their second album Vacation!  

I love music! I love the musicians who create magical music. I have around 50+ favourite musicians and bands in my CD collection. What is most interesting is that my music collection is reminiscent of a family tree. What started as a few artists and bands in my favourites list grew into the CD collection I love and am proud of collecting.

My two most favourite bands are The Go-Go's (Belinda Carlisle, Charlotte Caffey, Jane Wiedlin, Gina Schock & Kathy Valentine) and The Bangles (Susanna Hoffs, Vicki Peterson, Debbi Peterson & Michael Steele). I love both these core bands and the various members as solo artists and in other bands. Because of these musicians, I discovered other soon-to-be favourite musicians who have worked with them over the years. These musicians include: Abby Travis, Anna Waronker, the Haden Triplets (Petra, Rachel & Tanya), Alicia J Rose (Miss Murgatroid), Meredith Brooks, Gia Ciambotti, Dominique Davalos, Susan Cowsill, Peter Holsapple, Carlo Nuccio, Mark Walton, Chris Stamey, Matthew Sweet, Siobhan Maher-Kennedy & Jorinde Williams.

In my collection, I have an album called Mother & Child: A Christmas Celebration Of Motherhood. This album has many various artists, but the main reason I wanted it is because of two songs I didn't already have by my favourites - Christmas Lullaby by Belinda Carlisle & Charlotte Caffey and A Christmas Son by Debbi Peterson & Siobhan Maher-Kennedy. On this album, I found three more soon-to-be favourite musicians - Martina McBride, Suzy Bogguss & Beth Nielsen Chapman. There is a fabulous musician named Gretchen Peters who discovered I was a fan of her friend Suzy, and she asked me to check out her music which I did and am delighted by, then through Suzy and Gretchen I discovered Matraca Berg who would join my favourites list.

I am also a longtime fan of both Bette Midler and Amy Grant. I have all their albums. Through Bette, I discovered artists like Melanie Taylor, Carol Hatchett, Cynthia Gibb & Giovanna Gattuso.

I also love the Italian house music band Black Box, featuring Katrin Quinol, Charvoni Woodson, Martha Wash, Loleatta Holloway, Mirko Limoni, Valerio Semplici, & Daniele Davoli.

By watching a season of American Idol, I discovered a delightful musician named Jon Peter Lewis, and through him I discovered Lee Ferris.

After Whoopi Goldberg made the Sister Act movies and CD soundtracks, I added them to my CD collection. This started a whole trend of actor-turned-musician that I am a fan of. This includes Lucy Lawless from Xena Warrior Princess fame, Christian Bale in Newsies, and Nate Richert from Sabrina The Teenage Witch who started a music career with C Duck Anderson.

The most influential actor-turned-musician for me is Val Kilmer, who among other things starred in Ten Commandments: The Musical through which I discovered fabulous artists like Nita Whitaker, Luba Mason, Michelle Pereira & Lauren Kennedy.

Through Disney's Frozen star Jonathan Groff, I discovered the fabulous Sutton Foster who has become a jewel in my collection.

I also love DC Comics TV and movie soundtracks which feature artists like Melissa Benoist, Tara Strong, Neil Patrick Harris & Grey DeLisle-Griffin, while my love of Disney live action movie soundtracks have introduced me to amazing artists like Emma Watson, Halle Bailey, Naomi Scott, Rachel Zegler, Gal Gadot, Elle Fanning, Angelina Jolie, Lily James, Helena Bonham Carter, Mena Massoud, Dan Stevens & Jonah Hauer-King.
