Here in Northwest Indiana, we're directly in the path of the eclipse. I'm not all that pumped about it, but Kim did get me glasses and I guess I'll take off enough time from writing to get a couple of peeks in. The solar eruptions around the corona sound most interesting. And speaking of Corona, I'll have a couple cold ones nearby during the event.
How about all of you? Any plans? Stay safe...

Update:  Well it turns out that where we are, just around the lake from Chicago, the sky will be clear at the moment the eclipse and for at least 90 minutes afterwards.  Since it's not like that everywhere, maybe the cosmos is trying to send me a message so I guess I'll check it out...VERY carefully.  🙂
Here is what can be seen in the UK.
If you set your goals ridiculously high and it's a failure, you will fail above everyone else's success. -James Cameron
Am I a bad person for not giving a damn about the Eclipse?
Update: OK, I have to admit that was pretty cool...  🙂
I was so shocked by how cool the eclipse was! The huge outline of the moon and seeing the birds go to their nests and the bats wake up was interesting as well!Â
It was cool! And if you missed it you'll get another chance in 2045! 😆
