Part of the fun of Origins is the ability to mix and match the figures into new versions of old characters or all new characters. So let's show off what we've made, the good, the bad and the ugly. Here's my first two, Ray-Darr heroic master of communication and Jam-Orr evil jerk.

So here's a non-uploaded pick of the two...

I need to find time to dust, tidy up, finish painting some things, take photos in decent light, etc. Also colours usually look different in photos to in person. But here's some quick ones I'd already taken whilst talking to people.

NA and movie (not at all accurate, just in the styles):

Not MOTU but I find the figure style suits some pulp characters like Doc or Tarzan:

My take on New Eternia, mostly from discounted Revelation figures (Classics is all packed away for now, I've been paying more attention to Origins):

Some more messing around with Masterverse and Origins parts:

And a few general shelf pics, including a lot of mixed accessories, heads, etc:

I only collect primarily the female figures and unfortunately there isn't enough parts between them to make any cool mashups since most just have the Teela buck. That's why I hope we get more female figures in the line.

I couldn't agree more.

Yeah. I've seen some decent versions of Adora, Marlena, etc, but the only options much beyond that are the WWEternia wrestling figures or things in a similar scale (e.g. Diana in the D&D line, even has the fur trim costume).

@denyer The Becky and Stephanie figures also use the Teela buck. The only part of them that's different is the torso and the boots. But they share the pelvis and arms and legs with Teela and Evil-Lyn. And Chyna uses the She-Ra buck. They didn't really tool new pieces for the ladies in that line. I am hoping we'll get April in the TMNT line maybe she'll add some new pieces to the female figures.

Mmm. It's handy having the parts in different colours (I prefer to dye rather than paint if large areas or parts that move) but there hasn't been a lot of variety overall and boots don't really fit with MOTU except on a few figures such as maybe Tri-Klops.

There's the Funko Savage World Cheetara, that's fairly generic albeit without modern joints.

Have you seen the prices those wave 2 Thundercats go for. I'd like to get them but they are expensive.

There was a period where most of them were generally "sale" prices on Amazon and eBay, although did end up overpaying for the last one or two. The same with a lot of the WWEternia figures (not widely released in the UK) so I got quite a few for customs. Did get a Mr T to be Mr T though.

I just got the last Thundercats wave for about $35 US each.

I pity the foo that don't know Mr. T is always Mr. T.
