Didn't Hasbro and Mattel do that cross licensing agreement last year? It's probably going to happen. More crossover shit my money won't go to.

I can tolerate yet more of these side journeys as long as they don't interfere with ongoing releases of Origins CC and VC.
I'd rather see collabs with more MOTU-esque properties, like Blackstar, Conan, Thundarr, Power Lords, or any other fantasy property than this, or even with superhero IP's like Marvel or DC, but obviously it makes sense why they'd target Transformers since they have the agreement with Hasbro - it has a huge fanbase and retains a strong foothold in mainstream pop culture beyond any other 80's toy brand, so that will likely guarantee them pretty decent sales, probably higher than the TMNT crossover. Money talks. I'd be more intrigued about an Origins G.I. Joe mashup as far as Hasbro properties go.
@durendal most of the Transformers crossovers were just one figure.
Also we got Sargent Slaughter in MOTWWEU, but yeah seeing more crossovers like that could be fun.
I think it's best to think of this as a mini game not a side quest.

THat's not really what I said, but apparently you need everything spilled out for you because you can't pick up on context clues. If you don't like something, don't comment on it if you do like something, go ahead and comment on it. Don't come in here and ruin everybody else's good time with your negativity. To me I am fine with fans feeling negative and expressing it. As long as it is not over and over and over and over again in the same thread. Then it gets annoying. 😂
@asterstar ok I'm sorry maybe there weren't enough context clues. And you make a fair point about being able to saying if you don't like something. There's just so much negativity out there and I see a lot of it in this fandom and I'm so fucking fed up with it. Seriously can't we be happy for the fans that like the things that we don't?

That was the mentality of the org. Couldn’t say anything other than praise, because people wanted freebies and be part of the whole thing as heroes of the franchise. And you can tell that was beat into peoples thinking because they still toe that line.

I saw plenty of hate for Origins and Masterverse on the org. Over there you had to give praise and glory to the unfallible MOTUC. And by no means do I thank anyone should or will love everything MOTU, but damn we should try and be positive, be happy for our fellow fans that like the things we don't, and try to find something good in things we dislike.
So, it's fine if you don't like a MOTU/ Transformers crossover, but this will bring a lot of attention to MOTU, will find out about Origins and Masterverse.

That was at the end of org, when they knew mattel wasnt going to give them stuff anymore, they didnt care anymore. but when classics was going, if you said that the figure was ugly, or didnt like the process of how to get those figures , even without being “rude” about it, they would delete your post and suspend or ban. It was ridiculous. And you didnt dare voice your opinion or be critical about the comics that were coming out at the time. Wonder why, lol.

I remember that. Those were the dark days. If fans were critical you could be censored and suspended. It didn't matter if you were respectful and had a point. That was time when the Org became an extension of Mattel and a business opportunity. Once the Mattel money dried up so did the Org. Val said he wouldn't let the fans help keep the Org alive but he was willing to sell it to Mattel. That says it all.
@kraken I beg of you no more positivity thread suggestions. You are giving me horrible flashbacks. As long as we are are not insulting each other a thread should be able to handle mixed opinions.
I love both franchises and it would be sure fun to see/read some adventures of them interacting with each other. Or have vehicles that work for both (I mean they already unintentionally kind of have: https://foreternia.com/community/main-category-everything-you-see-here/for-eternia-late-night-she-ra-cartoon-collection-figures-are-coming-top-5-toys-that-got-away-more#post-14371 ). A (origins compatible) transforming Wind Raider or Jet Sled; I would be totally into that. Not sure about these; basically regular G1 bots but painted with MOTU characters signature color themes.
