I am a big fan of the classic eighties He-Man cartoon and have seen every episode multiple times. I sadly missed out on the Club Grayskull figures when they first came out and I can't afford them now but I am happily collecting all of the origins Cartoon Collection figures. My question is should a big fan save his money and buy the Club Grayskull figures instead? Are they that much better? Are there any fellow fans out there that own both and can share their unbiased opinion?

I like the As Seen on TV collection, followed by Club Grayskull.

Do you have a scale preference? Normally I'd say Club Grayskull since they generally look the best, but the current Cartoon Collection comes pretty close, and is widely available to purchase, and you can't beat the price point, so I give Origins a slight edge.

I don't care for the Super7 vintage style Filmation figures at all. They're thoroughly mediocre.

Didn't As seen on TV start with a real ugly He-Man figure that didn't look like the show? It was weird!

They all looked good in-hand.

Hehe thanks but those pins are not an eyesore for me. They are still pretty figures.

That is true you can't beat the price point. Maybe side by side they don't look different enough to warrant the extra expense.

That He-Man looked strange to me too but the other characters looked much better.
