By the Power of Grayskull!
He-Man actor Nicholas Galitzine has just taken to social media to share the very first Official Promotional image (featuring himself as He-Man holding the Power Sword) from the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie from Amazon MGM Studios and Mattel Films.
Here is what Nicholas shared:
"After several months of intense training, I’m thrilled to share that we’re officially in production on #MastersOfTheUniverse. Our director Travis Knight has assembled the most incredible ensemble cast and created a stunning tapestry of Eternia and its surrounding world. I can’t wait for you to see. More to come, but until then, here’s a sneak peek at the Sword of Power. By the power of Grayskull!"
- Nicholas Galitzine

Of course, fans already learned that the “Masters of the Universe” movie was officially in production as well as the look of Adam’s Power Sword, all thanks to some behind-the-scenes photos taken ten days ago during filming:

But regardless, it is still amazing to finally have an official promotional picture of He-Man (albiet a partial look) from the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie!
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
We’ll see you next time!
Yay for Nick’s muscles! He-Man will not be computerized!
In that picture he is looking more Beastmaster size than He-Man size.
@caliban True dat. He better keep workin out
It’s He-Man! This is so exciting. So when do we think we will see the first trailer? Maybe Mattel will put one together for San Diego Comic Con!
@skeledog his transformation is very impressive. You need to consider the fact that he has never done any form of body building before and they probably don’t have him on a crazy amount of steroids. Additionally, from a genetic standpoint he might not be a hyper-responder to gear either which would decrease his size. It takes years of dedicated training with optimized nutrition, sleep and workout regime to efficiently grow muscle. Doesn’t matter if you’re a natural or enhanced lifter. As a natural lifter you’d be looking at 10-15 years of consistent dedication in all aspects of training to reach your full genetic potential. Considering he likely had 6ish months to bulk, cut and film I’d say this is incredibly impressive. If the movie does well and he continues playing He-Man in sequels I’d say that his physique will only improve film over film.
Quite frankly this looks like your run of the mill sword and sorcery teaser. The Netflix programs have done it better.
Uuuuuuuffffffffff… I sincerely hope it will be a good movie, but nowadays it is damn hard for me to be hyped about the new Hollywood productions.
He-Man!
#%*! Yes!!! I’m all in for this!
At least they didn’t fuck up the sword this time…
From what we can see in this early image, it looks awfully similar to the armor worn by the first release Mondo He-Man…
i am gnawing away at the iron bars of my cage, i am scaling the walls, i have splinters in my knuckles from crawling across the floor. lawd help me! i feel like a regency-era man seeing an ankle for the first time!!
