Well, it didn’t take long to confirm the validity of that scoop because now we can reveal that a new comic one-shot is headed our way from Dark Horse comics this July titled “Masters of the Universe: Andra“… and it will be written by none other than actress Tiffany Smith herself! Wow!
Tiffany Smith was the voice actor who played the character of Andra in both “Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution” Netflix Animated Series.
And now Tiffany seems to have taken her character Andra to the next level by writing an entire new single comic adventure of her own!
Here is the synopsis:
Writer Tiffany Smith, the actor who voices Andra in Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Masters of the Universe: Revolution, and Eisner Award-winning artist Adriana Melo (Birds of Prey, Fantastic Four) bring Andra to the forefront in this thrilling one-shot.
Adapting to her new role as Man-at-Arms, Andra finds herself struggling with training new cadets. They must be ready to fight against any and all threats—magical or otherwise—but if Andra can’t believe in herself how can she expect others to follow her lead? When a call for assistance on Orkas Island turns out to be a magical threat from the evil Count Marzo, Andra will have to delve into her past, use her technical know-how, and find her own power if she hopes to save Eternia.•

Now what is also really interesting about this solicitation for the “Masters of the Universe: Andra” oneshot comic is it indicates the following:
“Bridges the gap while fans wait for the confirmation of a highly anticipated third series.”
Does this statement mean a third animated series on Netflix (“Masters of the Universe: Rebellion” anyone?) is officially in the works, which will be a follow-up series to “Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution“?
We have never experienced an actual television series teased this way before in comics, prior to an official corporate announcement. (To be honest, it seems more something we at For Eternia would write in our own articles.) But while it certainly seems a little peculiar. we certainly hope this means the powers that be have gotten a third animated series greenlit at Netflix. Keep those fingers crossed!
The MASTERS OF UNIVERSE ANDRA ONESHOT #1 will retail for $6.99 U.S. and will be In availabe at comic shops and digital retailers everywhere this July 23rd 2025.

I have never seen an actor write their own character’s comic before. This is neat.

So exciting! I love Andra and wish she were in Origins.
This bridges the gap between Revelation and Revolution. For a second I thought it would bridge the gap between Revolution and a third season.
Interesting.
It would be nice to get a whole bunch of one-off MOTU comics that focus on a single character. I’d even go a step further and say that He-Man and Skeletor should be kept out of such focused, niche stories. What better way to world-build criminally overlooked MOTU characters?
This is an idea I can get behind.
I would not read too much into the third series comment. It still may only be a comic book release and not cartoon series.
As for this, it sounds like a passion project by Tiffany. It could be hit or miss.
Finally, I’ve been waiting for an Andra story since they wasted her in the second part of Revelation
Excellent! The story line sounds cool too. Low stakes; unrelated to major plot points so they can just be creative.
