With filming completed at the Wells Cathedral, the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie from Amazon MGM and Mattel Studios has now been spotted filming at Wookey Hole in Somerset!
A scoop brought to us by awesome friend to the website Michael from ToyHabits, Wookey Hole contains an amazing breathtaking system of caves, as well as a Dinosaur Experience, circus, witch and more!
And now thanks to the Instagram Story of Nicholas Galitzine, he has shared some video and images while he was inside the caves! Check it out:
We also believe, thanks to Rus from MOTU_LIFELESSONS on Instagram, that filming may also move to the Beer Quarry Caves at some point as well (which is closed until Monday, June 23rd.)
While we do not know for certain what these shots are being used for, there is a good chance these locations are substituting for places on Eternia.
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
