UnBoxPHDFILM has reported today that, on the set of the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie, an actor in some sort of motion capture suit was seen running with the movement of a monkey! Check out out:
"Actor, seen running in the movements of a Monkey."
Now if you recall, we saw a very large motion capture suit CG Being (see #3 below) behind two people holding what looked to be Skeletor’s Havoc Staff (#2) and the Staff of Evil-Lyn (#1)! So could this be Beast Man?
Why we surmised it was Beast Man is because, as we reported last month, according to the John Campea Show, Movie Beast Man, Man-E-Faces, Spikor and a Battle Cat conceptual drawing was shown at CinemaCon. And when it comes to Beast Man, there has yet to be an actor casting announced.
So could Beast Man be lumbering down the streets of London, terrifying Prince Adam and Teela? We’ll have to wait and see to find out!

The awesome UnBoxPHDFILM has posted more of this large motion capture suited actor terrorizing “Oklahoma City” on the London set of the “Masters of the Universe” Movie. Could this be the BEAST MAN that attendees saw concept art of at CinemaCon? We shall see!
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is currently underway with the movie scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.

I though originally it was going to be Prince Adam and his “day to day" boring life before he realizes his destiny is in a faraway land. Outside of the sword recovery and the hijinks that ensue the perception was that the Earth portion of the movie wouldn’t take up more than that. These scenes seem to indicate that the Earth stuff is going to go on longer than originally assumed If Beast-Man is there. The Earth stuff seems more suited for a Sorceress vs Evil Lyn playing mind games with Adam until he breaks through then gets to Eternia then runs into Beast-Man and the rest of Skeletor’s henchmen.
If the rumor is right Skeletor probably finds out Adam is hiding on Earth and goes after him.
@kraken don’t get me wrong, i’d want the majority of the story to take place on eternia but to be honest, i actually kinda like the idea of skeletor finding out adam is on earth and sending beastman to hunt him down.
it would make for a fun first act. beastman is sent to earth to kill adam, whilst teela is sent to earth to take adam back to eternia and must get to adam before beastman does. they could be a lot of action as adam and teela run through the city and beastman chases after them. remember travis knight’s bumblebee movie? bumblebee is on earth and those other two decepticons are sent to earth to hunt him down, i imagine it would be similar to that.
it would also explain how adam has the powersword on earth (like we’ve seen in most of the on set photos.) maybe teela is the one to deliver the sword to adam. kinda like the cgi series where adam “technically" got the sword from teela.
beastman being typically one of skeletor’s sillier henchemen lends itself to the odd gag here and there but i honestly hope they keep the “sci-fi/fantasy world characters on earth" gags to a minimum. like beastman growling at a pack of dogs could be funny to see but beastman is there to be a threat to adam and teela, so i’d want this scene to played straight and mostly serious.
Here’s to hoping Beastman looks good! How awesome would it be for Alan Oppenheimer to make a cameo!?
