THE ETERNIA COLLECTION – Although it had German menus, every episode could be watched in English on region-free discs

Both also Region Free
…now, thanks to the ‘heads up‘ of @jukka Issakainen, Plaion Pictures also announced another MOTU Blu-Ray release last month: The 2002 “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” series known as “200X“!

And if it is anything like previous MOTU releases, while the discs will have German menus, the episodes will have the original English versions on region free discs.
We will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

PLAION Pictures (in Germany) announced on their Facebook and Instagram their upcoming blu-ray titles on March 28th, 2025.
One of those titles is the 2002 cartoon version for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, animated by Mike Young Productions during 2002-2004 over the course of 39 episodes.
This will not be online-exclusive (as was the case with the big “Eternia Collection" box).
Volume 1 is mentioned for preorder June 2025, but no exact date has been given and their website section for Coming Soon doesn’t have a link to it yet (April 29th, 2025). A Volume 2 has been mentioned to be in the works, completing the series. No date given for Vol2 yet.
All 39 episodes are seemingly split evenly between the two volumes.
Currently no info available what extras will be included.
For German fans this is very exciting because Season 2 has never been released with the German dub. Just like the Eternia Collection, this blu-ray release will most likely include english audio next to german audio.

@Jukka Do you know if this will this ship to the U.S.?
Plaion Pictures is restricted from shipping it to the U.S. unfortunately. However, from what I understand, you can create an account on amazon.de and they will ship to any U.S. address. 🙂

These are on YouTube but the quality is a mess.

I already own both seasons on Amazon Prime. I can see the allure if you want to own the physical copies though.
Are the episodes on Amazon Prime in HiDEF?
This show needed irmt the most. The quality I saw on the dvds were horrible.
