Written by With flming for the “Masters of the Universe” movie reportedly slated to begin next month, it appears that pre-production is still moving along quite nicely, courtesy of an update today from our new Teela actress Camila Mendes.
A month removed from dying her hair red (assumingly for Teela hair, makeup and costume tests), Camila took to Instagram to share a Teela related post. Indicating “this is all i have to offer you” with a single tear faced emoji, our new Teela actress showed us four scenarios that appear to suggest she will be starting her MOTU Movie stunt training. Check it out:
- The first image shows Camila inside what appears to be a hotel bathroom, perhaps getting ready.
- Next Camila shows off a Teela necklace she has.
- Camilia follows it up with a very brief video of her feet walking. Where is she headed?
- Camilia finishes off the sequence with a photo of a table holding up a dry erase board indicating “Welcome to Stunts!” (It appears there may be a practice stunt sword, wrapped up in black, on the table as well.)
So after decades of development hell, will this new “Masters of the Universe” movie finally be made? We believe so!
Filming for “Masters of the Universe” is reportedly slated to begin this January 2025 with the movie itself scheduled to be released in cinemas worldwide on June 5th, 2026.
