Three days ago, actor Dolph Lundgren (who played He-Man in the 1987 live-action film “Masters of the Universe”) shared some very good news; He was going to be cancer free.
First informing the public of his deadly disease in May of 2023, Dolph announced to the world he was struggling with cancer and revealed that he had been battling it for years.
With a prognosis once considered terminal, the He-Man actor explained he was optimistic when he got a second opinion that would (hopefully) give him a new, longer lease on life. Well apparently Dolph Lundgren had every reason to be optimistic. Here is what the legendary actor recently had to say:
āAlright. Here I am. At UCLA. Iām about to go in and get rid of that last dead tumor. Since there are no cancer cells in my body anymore, then I guess Iāll be cancer-free, so Iām looking forward to this procedure."

Dolph explained it had been a “rough ride” but his illness taught him “to live in the moment and enjoy every moment of life.“
We are so thrilled to hear that Dolph Lundgren has prevailed over this very serious illness and hope he has many more healthy and cancer-free years to come.
We’ll see you next time!
When he said āI must break youā he was talking about cancer. Way to go Dolph!!
I’m a big fan of Dolph,
long life, health and some shares in the MOTU franchise šš¼šš¼
I forgot he was sick. Awesome news!
Yaay! We love you Dolph! ā¤
It is such a shame that there is no standard of practice and switching your medical professional can save your life.
I’m very happy for him. He’s a legend! Sursum corda!
