Actor movie star Dolph Lundgren, who iconically played He-Man in the 1987 live-action film “Masters of the Universe” has opened up about his struggle with cancer, revealing he’s been battling it for years.
Speaking on the show “In Depth with Graham Bensinger”, the 65-year-old action star revealed to the world that he’s been battling cancer since 2015, which began as kidney cancer. He thought his subsequent treatments had beat it into remission, that was until 2020 when tumors started reappearing in his liver and even his lung.
In a candid interview with Dolph Lundgren himself, his fiancée, his daughter and even his doctor… Dolph chose to share his story to help inform people. Where getting a second opinion hopefully gave him a new longer lease on life, Dolph reveals “if you can save one person’s life who was in my situation, then it was worth it.”

“Dolph reveals “if you can save one person’s life who was in my situation, then it was worth it.”"
He is a He-Man through and through.
My gosh, I’m so sorry for him. He is a quite clever man and a great actor. Ireally hope he can still beat cancer!🤘🤘🤘

I didn’t even know he was sick. Sad news….
This is awful news. How did I miss this?
If Mattel can pay for the rights to Cherokee Nation historical figures then they can pony up one time and pay Dolph the money to make an accurate movie He-Man figure to honor him.
