Newly announced Prince Adam and He-Man actor Nicholas Galitzine was at the Fendi Men Spring/Summer 2025 Show recently where he answered some questions that provided some insight on the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” film.
Among the numerous yet brief topics discussed was… his new blonde hair, when the “Masters of the Universe” movie was slated to start, if he would be working out, possibly wearing a wig for the role and the fact that the ‘Wolverine‘ star himself was helping him prepare. Check it out:
Talk to us about your hair. Is this for a role?
Nicholas Galitzine: “Yes, So I’m shooting a comedy movie now called ‘Three Bags Full‘ with Hugh Jackman and Emma Thompson and yeah, I’m mixing, I have to adjust my sense of fashion to the new hair now, which is tricky, but Fendi dressed me very well today.”
It really works. How is it working with Hugh Jackman?
Nicholas Galitzine: “Incredible. I mean I’m due to do an action movie later on this year.”
Oh we read about it.
Nicholas Galitzine: “Yes, due to play He-Man. There’s kind of no one better to ask about preparation for an action star than Hugh Jackman who’s the action star. You know, he’s so kind and has been answering all my questions which I appreciate.”
Do you need to work out a lot for that?
Nicholas Galitzine: ‘Listen, I’ve got eight months, I’ve got eight months to get, to get even bigger and he’s been giving me a lot of tips for that.”
Well excellent. You’re going to keep the blonde then.
Nicholas Galitzine: “It seems so. Whether it will be a wig or my own hair I don’t know.”
While the brief conversation with Nicholas Galitzine did provide some terrific insight into the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” film, it also raised some curious questions. Like when actor Nicholas Galitzine says he has eight months to get “even bigger“, does he mean Prince Adam bigger or He-Man bigger?
Also when Nicholas says he is due to start the Masters of the Universe movie “this year“, but also says he has “eight months” to get in shape (which puts the time-frame into early next year), is this because the 10 year old Prince Adam scenes (that was detailed in the movie’s synopsis) will be filmed first? Or did he perhaps simply miscount the months?
Unfortunately, we won’t have those answers today but stay tuned to For Eternia all year long as we seek out those answers. And a super big thanks goes out to the incredibly awesome member of our community Rico for the terrific ‘heads up‘! Also thanks to The Talented Mr Galitzine for the interview!
We’ll see you next time!
They are “training." 😏
Those sunglasses are way too big for his head.
@caliban oversized sunglasses are trendy right now honey.
Senior citizen eyewear became trendy? Well now I’ve seen everything.
This gets me so excited. Let’s go!
We have to see what he meant about getting bigger but it’s nice to hear Nicholas talk about preparing for He-Man and that he’s taking it seriously and asking for advice. It’s also nice he is allowed to talk about it because sometimes actors are told to keep quiet.
@smokinya
Our conversation just got real!
YES! I was actually going to comment on this post and tag you as well. Funny how that all worked out, but he’s got A LOT of work to do in the next 8 months. If they don’t use CGI for He-Man I don’t even want to fathom what they’ll be putting him on.
Let me school you all about roids Nick.
Hemorrhoids Hugh?
No the other kind.
Well, I sure hope he is not just relying on some random dietary recommendations by Hugh Jackman. Dude needs to get a personal trainer and hit the gym 5 days a week for 3 months straight and live off of chicken and rice….^^
That aside, I just don’t know whether there is a creative team out there that is able to do the character (and entire world) justice and resist infusing a lot of common political Hollywood tropes into the mix. It’s also a pretty thin line to walk just in terms of tone… it can’t be overly serious, because that just isn’t MOTU, but it should be total camp either. Seems like an impossible task 😀
