Mattel previews Origins EXTENDAR Mattel Creations Exclusive figure ahead of May 22nd order date

Mattel Creations has just previewed their upcoming exclusive Masters of the Universe; Origins Extendar figure ahead of next week’s order date. Check it out:

Masters of the Universe Origins Extendar Action Figure

Extendar was one of the last figures released in the vintage MOTU line back in the 1980s. This Hordak experiment-turned-hero uses an extendable body to leap great distances and his powerful reach to fend off attackers. We brought Extendar back and now, for the first time, he’s in Origins form with a unique body that extends. Our figure has 16 points of articulation and extendable limbs to set him above and beyond any collection.

  • Masters of the Universe Origins™ Extendar™ Action Figure
  • Figure stands 5.5 inches tall and extends to 8.0 inches
  • 16 points of articulation
  • Comes with a folding shield and a mini comic
  • Arrives in premium MOTU Origins packaging

AWESOME BY EXTENSION

We brought back a cyborg warrior from the 1980s. Hordak’s “experiment,” Extendar, was one of He-Man’s most courageous allies and is now an Origins figure.

KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR

In addition to his extending body, our robotic knight has 16 points of articulation and wards off enemies with his folding shield.

WITHIN REACH

Victory in battle against The Evil Horde is always possible with Extendar on your side. His extending limbs and head will make him the hero of your collection.

The Masters of the Universe; Origins Extendar figure goes up for pe-sale/sale on the Mattel Creations website this Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024 at 9am PT.

And thanks to our awesome community member @cosmic for the ‘heads up‘! We’ll see you next time.

    1. Why can’t you? MC doesn’t ship to where you live?

      My problem is another one…
I have already a small collection of the 80’s figures (palely reminding me my childhood collection), PLUS a lot of the New eternia ones, PLUS He-Man, Skeletor and Scare Glow from the Origins line. If I go on with all the collections I like, I’ll have to spend hundreds and hundreds of €uros, for different iterations of figures of the very same Cartoon, and fill my room with them in an downward spiral. That frightens me. Even if I love the Masters of the Universe world and characters, I just want to put a stop to my collection. I cannot afford such “commitment", both in terms of money and space. I would already love to buy some MOTU Classics figures, but I’m not going to. It would be a never ending circle of collections, with always new lines and new figures coming.

I get it. Space and money is an issue for me too. Some of us can’t have those crazy dedicated motu rooms with light up clouds glued to the ceiling that we see on youtube. 🤣

  1. I love these photographs. The gold looks much better now, but I hope it’s not just the lighting !

Some of the extensions of legs and arms look different from each other, some are curved, some are shorter and straight… we might be getting some options! Perhaps even connect the connections to make them extra long??
