The wait continues: Mattel Adventure Park is now aiming for a 2025 Grand Opening

The grand opening of Mattel’s new theme park resort, currently under construction in Glendale Arizona, appears to be pushed back again. According to the Themed Park Insider, Mattel Adventure Park is now aiming for a grand opening in 2025.

Officials are reportedly saying they are still planning on a late 2024 “soft opening“, which is usually an invite-only trial run, but the regular public will seemingly have to get through another calendar year before experiencing this long anticipated park.

Originally slated to open the first quarter of 2023, many Masters of the Universe fans were looking forward to trying out the “He-Man Versus Skeletor Laser Tag” in a giant 4,500 square foot Castle Grayskull. Unfortunately the park surrounding the jaw bridge wasn’t nearly as ready as they hoped.

Last year, we reported HERE that Mark Cornell, President of Mattel Adventure Park, was hoping for an opening date this year (2024)… but now it seems that likely won’t be the case either. Even the late soft opening they are planning this year may not be set in stone.

So will 2025 finally be the year where fans can enter the Castle Grayskull at Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale, Arizona? We will have to wait and see.

We’ll see you next time!
