Mattel has just dropped on their social media pages that pre-orders will be taken tomorrow for the Masters of the Universe Summer and Fall 2024 Catalog! Here is what Mattel had to say:

@kraken Appears to be the New Eternia Faker head sculpt that many people wanted Mattel to use on a He-Man (can’t say I was fond of it myself, face seemed off and I didn’t like how ‘tidy’ and overly styled the hair looked). Is fine. I guess. Maybe they still got time to tweak it if they want, but probably won’t.
@carnivius It looked good on Faker. It’s the fugly paint job. It’s insane that Mattel approved such an ugly paint for their marquee character.
I don’t like the New Eternia Faker head so not keen on it on Thunder Punch He-Man but the figure looks good overall and it’s using the larger chest of the Revolution He-Man. :O
That Alcala Skeletor has a hinged jaw and the flames on the base light up in two different colours. :O
So…preorder where? BBTS and EE? And which ones? Obviously some are going to be exclusives. Like the TOG Mer-Man is a Walmart exclusive. I’m sure the Stranger things He-Man is an exclusive too.

A closer look at the head sculpt for the Masterverse Masters of the Universe “Skeletor & Throne" coming this Fall.
It is incredibly cool, indeed, but with so many interesting Masterverse and Origins figures, it will be very hard to afford every one of these, Skeletor on the Throne included!
@alteredquantum this is what sucks about collecting both lines. 3 if you collect the TOG. Hopefully it’s spread out a little bit
Unfortunately, I’m collecting the ’80s line too. I started 2 years ago, following the revival brought by MOTU Revelation (I didn’t like it, but it sparked anyway my memories of childhood). Then I discovered 40th Anniversary He Man, then New Eternia Beast Man (it was so cool and so cheap I really couldn’t resist!) and many other N.E. figures followed soon after. I wanted to stay only on those two lines, but then my fiancèe gave me Origins Scare Glow as a Halloween present, and Origins Skeletor a little bit later. I must admit the Origins line has its own merits, so now I’m screwed.
@alteredquantum haha aren’t we all? It’s addicting, I’m still picking up vintage myself when I can. There’s not much more I need but the newer lines put that on hold. My wife gets alerts when I buy from BBTS or MC and get texts immediately yelling at me 😂

@he-dad Yep! That man of war is terrible. Not even sure it would look good if I stuck a different head on the body. I’m not a fan of the Movie He-Man figures so I’ll be passing on the beastman but all of the other 7″ figures I’ll be getting.
My plan for the Man-O-War figure is to slap that visor/face guard thing on and keep it there. Tada! New generic Eternian Guard type of character who fights alongside my New Eternia Man-At-Arms.
Hordak and Leech, also Snake Teela looks fun! 😀
Movie Beastman – Awesome! Being a massive Classics collector, I loved seeing him, so I could expand my ’87 movie collection.
POP Leech – Amazing reveal! Love this as we missed out on the Club Eternia version of Leech. This is probably the closest we’ll get and he looks fantastic!
Revolution Manowar – As others have said, he looks cartoony and weird. Big disappointment.
New Eternia Thunder Punch He-Man – Looks alright to me. I’ll grab him.
Revolution Hordak – He’s fine looking, but I’m over Hordak due to Classics. Again, not this figures fault as he looks good. It’s all me. Pass.
New Eternia Mer-Man – Disappointing. I was expecting more with this one. His face looks off to me.
New Eternia Battle Armor Skeletor – Wow. Amazing looking figure, love the helmet and everything else … except those elbows, but that’s on every Masterverse figure. Except Snout Spout. C’mon, Mattel … why didn’t you continue with the single elbows … sigh. Like Revolution Hordak, it’s all my problem.
New Eternia Sy-Klone – Love it! Great looking figure and I love the new masked look. Definite buy!
Skeletor w/Throne – I’ll buy this one, but I’m not sold on the head like most people are. Something about it looks a little off to me, but I may change my mind once I get it in-hand.
Movie Beast Man gives me that we’ll finally get Movie Sorceress. 😍

@kraken I mean, if this version were marketed as New Eternia, I’d be ok with the pickle green colour that he has (even though it’s too similar to Slush Head), but since he’s being released as a Princess of Power version, he really ought to be as accurate as possible to his look on the show. The sculpt is virtually perfect (especially his head), but he really needs his skin tone to be mint green. It’s bugging me that they missed this, particularly since we’ve still never gotten a Filmation version of Leech. This is as head scratching of a decision as not including Evil-Lyn’s cape…
That color they picked doesn’t even match the vintage figure so who knows where they got it from. It’s either color blindness or a sale on avocado paint.
I’m not knocking your points my brothers but did anybody care when Mattel changed Webstor’s colors from dark blue to bright blue in Origins and Masterverse? AJ talked about that color change in his masterverse review and as far as I can tell it wasn’t a big deal to him and he’s a crazy lunatic obsessed Webstor fan. 🤣

Masterverse POP was never intended as a cartoon collection line. You only have to go as far as the first She-Ra figure to realize that.
Well sh*t, looks like the snake Teela is not coming to my country this time.
Well on the bright side Hordak and Leech is now pre-ordered! :3
