MOTU is scheduled this Thursday (3/21) for the ”Mattel Creations REVEALED” Virtual Event – Origins Sy-Klone figure is also confirmed!

Mattel Creations REVEALED, a new virtual event that Mattel has slated for this Thursday and Friday with the alert to “start clearing space on your shelves“ has finally dropped their official schedule… with Thursday, March 21st being the day for Masters of the Universe fans! Check it out:

Please note the timezone is PT.

What also has been confirmed is our initial report (reported here) that the Masters of the Universe: Origins Sy-Klone, the heroic fist-flinging tornado action figure, will finally go up for sale the beginning of the MOTU segment! Check out these official pictures:

See the official listing for Sy-Klone HERE. And we repeat, per the Mattel Creations website:

New items featured in each segment will be available at MattelCreations.com at the start of the segment. Please note: Starting times below are approximate, Pacific Time (US).

Also, considering we know more Origins and Masterverse figures are in the works… and considering last year’s Fall Catalog was announced almost a year to-the-day to when this event will begin… it is feeling like this may be the time when MOTU fans will learn about Mattel’s new upcoming slate of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse figures.

You can visit the Mattel Creations page HERE! Be sure to mark your calendars! And a big thanks goes out to our amazing community member @depp76 for the ‘heads up’!

We’ll see you next time!

    1. @adam_prince-of-eternia On sale then. Scroll to the bottom. https://creations.mattel.com/pages/mattel-creations-revealed-virtual-event

I missed the fine print: “New items featured in each segment will be available at MattelCreations.com at the start of the segment."

Yup. AJ put it in his article too because I’m guessing it was easily missed. What’s worse is they also said the order time may be off a few minutes because it’s a live event. With my work schedule I could have used some more notice on this one.

  1. New Origins Sy-Klone art directly references THE POSTER from the US Fall 1985 issue of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe magazine from Telepictures Publications.

The cover features He-Man fighting the Beastmonster from the Fright Zone. The fold-out poster is longer and has Sy-Klone and Moss Man on a lower ledge.

    1. @he-dad Nobody cares 🤣

You would be singing another tune if they finally offered this prototype to us!

I remember when all that stuff was shown and never actually got produced.  I would have bought all of it.  I collect Monster High as well so that stuff was right up my alley.  It was so disappointing when all of it got canned.

    1.  I got 2 and an Uno set. That was pretty easy, I hope it was the same for the rest of you.

I was thinking about getting that Uno set but sometimes it’s hard for me to get someone to play.

    1. @depp76 they weren’t there but Extendar and Night Stalker. They said catalog drops next Tuesday. I wasn’t really impressed and expected a little more than what we were shown. They also said they plan to finish the vintage line but didn’t specify if that included vehicles

  2. Mattel wants to kill this line honestly. Haven’t been excited for anything outside the Turtles crossover in over a year. The cartoon collection is lame and the weird Snake men they keep putting out aren’t interesting either. I want more Powers of Grayskull or Princess of Power added to this line. Vintage style not cartoon style.

  3. This was actually more content that I was expecting. I came in on the segment exploring the vault and I was hoping it wasn’t just going to be a skin deep presentation of super casual information. I really enjoyed the segment about the stop motion studio, though my stream kept cutting out so I hope it’s posted to youtube eventually.
I wasn’t sure if this was going to explain the whole year or just a few things and this seemed in line (though with overall less figures) with the German event that Geek Dad Life went to last year or the year before.  I was glad to see the preview and especially the reassurance that the lines \ figures are going to continue. I’m also looking forward to some high resolution images of the TMNT lineup Tuesday.
