Written by Mattel has certainly made it confusing!
Earlier today Mattel had announced a new 12-inch Motherboard figure that will be available at the 2023 San Diego International Comic-Con and Mattel Creations. (More details can be found HERE). Now when one reads their solicitations, Mattel made it seem like this was actually a Masters of the Universe: Revelation figure, and therefore from the Masterverse “Revelation” subline. Check it out:
But with a closer inspection of the packaging, it is clearly labeled Masters of the Universe: Revolution.
Update: We found “Revolution” molded in its clear plastic packaging too.
Also, thanks to Raúl and Mattel, we have our first look at a San Diego Comic-Con 2023 promotional poster to promote the figure… and we can see it clearly states “Revolution“. (And what a gorgeous poster it is!)
So this confirms that the brand new Motherboard figure is indeed our first Masterverse figure from Masters of the Universe: Revolution subline. Very cool!
