Written by The Masterverse “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” Skeletor 2.0 (“Horde Skeletor”) will be in the hands of collectors soon, and now thanks to the Instagram account of Roy Juarez, we have our first look at the artwork and packaging for this Evil Lord of Destruction… back when he was a servant to Hordak!
First, let’s check out this terrific Masterverse artwork by illustrator Simon Eckert:
Now when we view the packaging itself, we get a look at how the Masterverse Revelation (Horde) Skeletor will appear on a retail shelf near you:
We are trying to get an answer from someone at Mattel why they wouldn’t title this figure “Horde Skeletor” versus just “Skeletor” on the packaging to avoid confusion (which instead results in a Skeletor 2.0 in the Revelation subline)… but we suspect we won’t be getting an answer anytime soon.
And regarding the seemingly absent paint wash…
Regardless, this still very exciting Wave 10 Revelation (Horde) Skeletor figure is currently available for pre-order at your favorite Masterverse online retailer… and should start appearing in fans’ collections in the next few weeks.

Hmmm, the missing wash really makes the head and belt insignia look flat, hopefully this was just a quick mockup to demo the box art.
@christophno Ikr? The head doesn’t even look yellow. I really hope it doesn’t ship that way.
@he-dad Exactly, a flat white skull would be disappointing. I cam to terms with them losing the clasic green shadows on his skull for Revelation, but you got to still give us the yellow at least.
Indeed. A yellow skull is important, especially considering the source material it is emulating.
I really hope we don’t end up with two Skeletors that fans are disappointed with in the Revelation subline. 😕
He looks good to me in other photos, maybe it was just this one
