  1. Thought I’d add in my thoughts on the whole “Teela" took over He-Man’s role in Revelation. As I have probably mentioned before, I felt the show was amazingly well done. It seriously dove me right back into the Masterverse. Now, as I said, the show was called Masters of the Universe Revelation. Not He-Man and friends. So Teela got to be the hero for a bit. Woopdie Doodie! If you have watched enough He-Man films in the past, many characters had episodes that were more directed toward them and less about He-Man. But He-Man still really came forward and played his role. Now, one thing I think Eamon said that I disagree with is that when He-Man decided to just jump to save Primus (I think thats what it’s called, never got into New Adventures), but he said “Who would have taken over to replace He-Man". Now, while Teela would be the first thought, I feel Teela most likely would have taken over her mothers duties as Sorceress and would be bound to Grayskull leaving someone else to take those reigns. If you ask me… I think it’s Virgil Sweeney that would have taken up that responsibility. But yeah… This whole Smith baited us into a lie needs to be put to rest. Revelations was what this day and age needed to get the MOTU hype back into high swing. If anything, people should stop complaining about Kevin Smith and start thanking him that the hype is bringing back more things to collect. I was strictly a 1:18 scale collector but now I’m looking to sell quite a lot of my collection to build up a masterverse collection. If anyone is looking for anything 1:18 scale Star Wars stuff, thats my focus for selling as soon as I can find my good camera so AJ can stop making fun of my blurry pictures. Oh… I do have some early 12″ Star Wars scale stuff from Sideshow. I hate dealing with shipping such huge boxes out but if anyone here is looking for any of the early 2000’s Sideshow Sarwars figures, I know I have some. The Jabba the Hutt with full throne and all his extra critters and I think a slave Leia need to stop taking up so much room! So if your struggling to get a hold of some of that, feel free to message me and maybe we can work something out. Offering to my friends here at For Eternia.com to help show my support and love to this Website as well as show my appreciation to AJ for making fun of my pictures. :p

      1. @bricrue I agree entirely with the Teela thing bro.
AJ made a fun of your pictures? What pictures? Post them bro and we will make fun of AJ!

Pfffftttt.. I’m just trying to give him a hard time. The picture is a little blurry. We had some people come clean our house and they threw away a ton of stuff like our expensive $500 camera’s so all I have is my weak cell phone. I don’t own an expensive phone because for one, I can’t afford one, and two, I don’t use the phone enough to really even care. But I was just working on a little lame short story thing for the fun of it where Sweeney discovered Prince Adams secret and stole the power sword from him. Then one of the good Masters came to save the day, the great Clamp-Champ, who was a custom I made before they even released the idea of making one. So, in all fairness, it isn’t the best picture out there. It is a bit blurry!

  2. Well I am not caught up in the podcast but I skipped ahead to listen to this one after AJ mentioned Eamon discussing his art inspirations in another post. What an extremely good interview! @admin How do you get these artists on the podcast? Just reach out to them and ask nicely? It’s cool that you’re building such a good repertoire of guests. Hopefully that will keep it coming and get more and more people connected with the figures, art, and TV show!!

I loved listening to Eamon discuss his inspirations and how he is self-taught and still has to consult anatomy books for help drawing figures. I used to try and draw (not very good) and could just spend hours looking at a Boris Vallejo art book. I have several of his. He specifically liked using body builders as models because they know their bodies, poses, and muscles so well and can show off the best parts about them. To see these figures in spell-binding fantasy environments battling insanely imaginative monstrous creatures is a whole experience. I understand that there was a point in time in the 90’s-00’s where He-Man and friends showing off so much skin and muscles could get made fun of, but hopefully we are beyond that in this internet age where there is something for everyone and it’s easy to find a group of people that celebrate the same things you love. Unfortunately, it’s just as easy to find the opposite as well. My advice for young people is to just seek out what you love and don’t waste time on people or things that have negative stuff to say. About anything. I wish I could go back in time and give my younger self this advice. So thank you AJ for creating this website, podcast, and community where we can all share and binge MOTU content, news, and the collecting world!

    1. Thanks everyone for the kind words! I am so thrilled that so many enjoyed this episode. I really appreciate it, I really do. Very much!

Pretty much just by asking! And after that “yes", some interviews are in the works for months & months from asking to airing, based on their busy schedules or something they want to time it with. But it does help that many of them are fans and already readers or listeners of ForEternia.com to begin with and subsequently comfortable. 🙂

Great advice. And THANK YOU for the thanks! It goes a long way. I wouldn’t have the drive to do this without everyone here, this wonderful community. I just feel very fortunate to be around such wonderful people. 😌
