Written by The CCE Awards is an annual event that honors the achievements of editors across Canada judged entirely by their colleagues in the same field.
And in the category of Animation Editing, several titles were nominated including a Season 3 episode of the Netflix Children’s Animated Series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe”. Here were the nominations:
Best Editing in Animation

- Jeremy Montgomery – HE-MAN AND THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: EP 301 – THE HAUNTING OF CASTLE GRAYSKULL
- Lesley Mackay Hunter, CCE – BIG BLUE: EP 21 & 22 – CHANGE OF HEAAAART/OOZE ON THE LOOSE
- Meagan Oravec – RUN JUMP PLAY: EP 102 – CAMILLE THE GYMNAST
- Paul Hunter, CCE & Katie Tomchishen – ANGRY BIRDS SUMMER MADNESS: EP 203 – CHUCK IN A BOX
Well the CCE Awards were finally announced in Toronto last night and when the winner was revealed, He-Man’s editor Jeremy Montgomery was crowned victorious!
So congratulations to Jeremy and all the team involved at Netflix and Mattel!
