Written by Masters of the Universe fans have been hoping for a new He-Man video game for a very long time. Now while we still have no news to report on that front (unfortunately), there will be a new video game coming out next year that apparently allows players to play as both the Prince Adam and He-Man Pop collectible figures! That game is called Funko Fusion.
Funko Fusion is a Pop figure mashup game that takes iconic franchises like Masters of the Universe, The Thing, Back to the Future, Jurassic World, Battlestar Galactica, and more… and combines it into a sometimes cute, sometimes scary third-person, action multi-player game.

Currently there is no word on which Masters of the Universe Pop characters other than Adam/He-Man will be featured in this new video game (if any), but we’ll find out when Funko Fusion comes to PC and consoles in early 2024.

There is a game on Roblox that you can play that stays off of the CGI Masters of the universe Netflix series. You can play as He Man, Battle Cat, Skeletor and Evil-lyn. It’s basically a hack and slash to gain points to unlock characters. But still kind of fun that it masters of the universe themed, and it’s free!
I’m screaming!!! 😭 I’ve waited so long for a new Masters of the Universe video game….and I can wait another few months for this release
(Between He-Man’s return to gaming and the screen with Revolution on Netflix, 2024 looks to be a big year for our fandom, guys!)
From the looks of the trailer, Funko Fusion seems to be in the same spirit as a Traveller’s Tales Lego game – particularly like Lego Dimensions. Anybody remember that game? You had different worlds based on different IPs, with their own unique story (like there was a Simpsons world with a Simpsons story, for example.)
I hope there is a full stage set on Eternia, with a unique story set on Eternia – complete with cutscenes, hopefully full voice acting too. Can you guys imagine roaming around the palace, Castle Grayskull, Snake Mountain and interacting with everything? Imagine the cool little Easter Eggs and in-jokes they could put in the background, just to give more life and personality into the MOTU-themed areas? ♡♡♡
Looks cool, reminds me alot of lego dimensions. Hope we get more motu characters and levels reveal later on.
Also I always wonder what a john carpenter the thing would look like as funko pops.

Doesn’t say anything about using figures and a base (like Skylanders). That just means the MotU stuff comes included in the base game. Awesome! Hopefully there’s some SPOP stuff too.
Perhaps there will be digital codes offered with certain physical pops that allows you to unlock certain characters in-game. 🤔
@admin either that or it’ll be just straight up DLC packs (buy specific figures, get those specific paid DLC packs for free).
I think it would be crazy for them not to do something like that.
