Masterverse/MOTU helps lead a successful Q4 & 2021 for Mattel!

Reported earnings for Mattel made public today for the months of October, November and December 2021 (as well as the entire 2021 fiscal year) have revealed that Mattel has had another very successful quarter and an overall great year with Masters of the Universe!

Now we already know that Mattel President and COO Richard Dickson said this past Summer that he was “really very, very happy” with the Masterverse toy line relaunch specifically, and the company enjoyed quite a rise in action figure sales because of it.

Well now we know that success has continued (and hopefully it’s an indicator that all the MOTU toy lines are successful in general), with Mattel’s gross billings for action figures up 26% for the quarter (Oct – Dec 2021), and up 53% for the entire 2021 year. That boom was “led by exceptional growth in action figures”, led by Jurassic World and…. you guessed it… Masters of the Universe!

Thats right! The Masters of the Universe toy lines helped lead the growth charge, and once again Mattel featured the Masterverse “Masters of the Universe: Revelation” He-Man prominently in the highlights!
