A new live action film would be sick, but I always have the fear that Hollywood would cast based off current box office pull numbers and not talent/true to the source material skill. So instead of us getting someone like a Henry Cavill who, proved he could play two distinct personalities weak and strong as clark Kent/Superman and is a die hard Warhammer Fan that I think would respect and obsess over the original source material; we may end up with a casting like John Cena who, as great as they are  ( and let's be honest an amazing human being based of his make a wish record) would be cast as their ability to be a great as He-man but a hard sell for Prince Adam. 

Ain't that the truth.

It is so very difficult to remain optimistic that this movie will be made. *sigh*

Might depend on how well some of their upcoming projects.

@he-dad both. If Revolution does well, they'll know that people still want more He-Man. If Barbie does well, they'll know that live-action movie versions of their IPs can work (provided they can get the right people working on it).

Plus, I heard they have a few other projects in the works that may or may not factor into things.
