  1. Oh god no. Seeley again? And now he’s trying to have the Gar in Revelation despite it already being established this Skeletor has nothing to do with the Keldor crap? Was bad enough in Seeley’s Masters of the Multiverse where he tried to have just about every Skeletor that ever was have been Keldor at some point…

    1. @carnivius To be fair, the Keldor versions of Skeletor seem to be the more popular variations, but I must admit, it was getting a little old. My problem with the Masterverse comics was sort of similar to the first Prequel mini-series to Revelation, there wasn’t that much substance with most of the stories. And to my knowledge with the Revelation/Revolution versions of Skeletor, I thought he was some kind of interdimensional being with Skeleton heads, much like the classic iterations.

    2. @deltavax As someone who is usually so disappointed with prequel comics for being fluff and so inconsequential to the main narrative, I was completely thrilled with how substantial the Revelation prequel comics were.. and subsequently 100% agree it would be such a shame to discard that origin and hand waive it as more of Skeletor’s lies.

Hopefully I am way off base and there is absolutely no chance it will be altered or retconned! 🙂

    3. @admin Hopefully. I mean I like the Keldor storyline as much as the next guy, but isn’t that what the CGI show is for? (If Netflix hasn’t canceled it) The interdimensional being origin not my favorite version of the character’s history, but hey, that’s just my preference, but it would be nice for it to stay consistent, because for the most part, other than the Power Sword, and Evil Lyn’s history, I don’t see much connection between the Secrets of Grayskull Prequel and Revelation. I was hoping Revolution or another tie-in series could help mend the bridges so to speak.

@deltavax I think you missed a huge connection my friend! So pour yourself some tea or coffee, get comfortable in your favorite reading chair, and behold! 😀

  2. Was not a fan of them doing a masterverse where CGI He-Man meets many other He-man as well as pushing the whole toyverse down our throats. I just wasn’t feeling it and I gave up on the other comics because of that. I don’t think I’ll be wanting to read this one either.

  3. My question is, why didn’t they do something like this in the first place? To me, Revelation feels like a combination of different versions of Masters rolled into one, like Classics, and a third or fourth season of an already-established reboot. Since this new comic is supposed to be a “Year One" or “Season One" dare I say, why are they just coming out with this now? Masterverse was more like a prologue to the Revelation timeline, and Secrets of Grayskull was an in-between whatever came before, and Revelation. Wouldn’t it have been wiser to do Forge of Destiny first, then build it up to Revelation, and now Revolution?

  4. Love it!  I was craving more comics since the Masterverse 4-issue miniseries ended.  I thought that one was decent, but found myself needing a longer ‘single universe’ story like the 4-issue Revelation prequel before it.  Looks like I’ll be visiting my friendly neighborhood comic shop on September 6.
