Quick question, has it ever been stated what branch of service Captain Marlena Glenn was in. I know she was a Captain but all 5 branches of the US military have those. Give that she on the younger side I would assume it's not Navy as a Navy Captain is a higher rank than a Captain in every other branch.

Probably Air Force considering her piloting skills.

@lordofdestruction maybe, but all branches of the US military have aircraft and pilots. Neil armstrong was in the navy and "Buzz" Aldrin was airforce. John Glenn was a marine so piloting skills don't necessarily mean air force.

@smitty-81 perhaps. But then given the fictional setting she could simply be a captain in a non-existant in real life branch. Like how Kirk is a captain in Starfleet.

@lordofdestruction that's fair, but I'm looking for anything official to use in my photo comic. If there isn't anything from MOTU canon I can pick what ever branch I want.

Captain is not a rank in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), so she must be a member of the United States Armed Forces. She is likely a member of the United States Space Force (USFF), which is the space service branch under the Department of the Air Force.

@adam_prince-of-eternia No NSAS doesn't have any rank, but most astronauts came from the US military.

If I joined the Amry I could fly a jet? I thought it was only the Airforce that had aircraft and pilots.

@samuel that's right, but to be a pilot in any branch you have to be an officer, meaning you need to have a college degree or go to a military academy, like West Point. If you're concerned about paying for college you can take classes for free after you join and become an officer. Whatever you do, good luck.
