So Kim and I just finished binging Suits for the third time and we're looking for new series suggestions. Â We're very specific. Â Kim's not a fan of sci-fi (sigh...). Â We're not big on violence and I don't like dark series -- i.e., Breaking Bad, Ozark, Blue Blood. Â
What we do like are great series with great characters and serpentine plot lines -- classics, for example, like Dallas, Dynasty and more recent series like The Good Wife. Â Steamy is good. Â Upbeat with a bit of humor is even better -- think: Resident Alien, Kim's Convenience, Schitt's Creek. Â Â
We'd be really grateful for suggestions. Â
If you like animation, I'd recommend "The Dragon Prince" on Netflix.
For live action, there's "Manifest" and "Sweet Tooth".
I'd recommend watching the animated "Avatar: The Last Airbender" first, but both it's sequel "Legend of Korra" and Netflix Live-Action version of ATLA are really good.

Ahhhh, we found The Good Place and are really liking it after two episodes.  There's enough darkness to be found on the news websites I surf each morning.  I don't need it in television series and The Good Place seems to fit the bill for us -- light, breezy, good actors, nice dialogue and a clever story line that actually makes us laugh...and heaven knows we could all use more laughter.  🙂
