A fighting game where the characters are knock-offs of popular action figures from the 80s and 90s. The gameplay features an obvious expy of He-Man (look at the package he rips himself out of). There's even an "Orko" assist and a Skeletor knock-off.
Not saying we should start throwing money at the kickstarter (I would never suggest that here), but it might be worth keeping an eye on this one.

So true. Unfortunately, the trouble with that is that it's expensive to get the rights. Sometimes it's better to do a game like this with "knock-offs" to get the idea established.
Remember, "Dead by Daylight" started with a bunch of expy slasher villains, and now they got many big name movie icons in their game. "Gigabash" started with a bunch of original kaiju, and later added the likes of Godzilla and Ultraman. If this game does well, they might even be able to snag some big-name guests in the future.
Found a video of a full fight between Grimrot (Skeletor) and Kronan (He-Man). Quality isn't great, but at least we got some gameplay.
