Looks like they designed the neck to fit the New Eternia chest Armor and let that decide the ultimate sculpt for the neck, but I really wanted to display the vintage look. Maybe we will get a second version in the Revelations line in a future wave with the techno head/ armor from the show like how they released the two versions of Merman.

Regarding the engineering of the New Eternia Whiplash head, it's not a deal breaker for me at all, and I really like the figure, but the design does feel a tad awkward.... almost like they engineered the head mechanic more difficult than it needed to be is the best way I can describe it. It feels like there were so many other more simpler and natural ways to design the head system a-through-z, through a design perspective.

Agreed, if they just expanded the chest armor wider at the top they could have made a better neck connection for the vintage look. That being said the figure looks great with the armor so I will display it in his battled crotch gear lol.
