BEAST WOMAN teased again in Masterverse ”New Eternia” Packaging Artwork! (Moss Man too!)

Back in June of 2022, Mattel and artist Nate Baertsch showed off his wonderful artwork for the Masterverse “New Eternia” Beast Man figure.

While it was amazing artwork recreating an iconic scene with Beast Man, interestingly enough, it wasn’t his art of Beast Man that captured the hearts of fans, but rather his Beast Woman perched in a tree!

This new character that Nate Baertsch depicted garnered so much interest that Nate decided to design a new piece of art featuring only her:

Well today, the full packaging for a brand new upcoming Masterverse Masters of the Universe “New Eternia” Beast Man figure was revealed by Mattel, that included a brand new Beast Woman tease in the artwork! Check it out:

Now that Beast Woman has been teased again today, will this exciting new character finally be realized in Masterverse plastic? It is something we have been asking Mattel every year since 2022, hoping it would happen.

Did you know Nate Baertsch’s art of Beast Woman took inspiration from the iconic Raquel Welch pose from the film “One Million Years B.C.”?

Now if this wasn’t exciting enough, a keen eye would have noticed a Moss Man also hiding in the foliage!

So is a “New Eternia” MOSS MAN Masterverse figure also in the works? We shall see!

We’ll see you next time!

  1. The more we dig into it, the more I suspect that these kinds of additions are being used just for illustration’s sake; instead of potential teases. I mean, what have we gotten so far? The only “new" characters were from the “Revelation / Revolution" cartoon, and most of them are just variations of the main references. As far as I’m concerned, I’m not holding my breath for any Delora, Mask Of Powers or even Flying Skelcons, as it looks like “surprise" is not really on the menu regarding the development of this brand. Sorry to be the downer here, but I had to publicly minimize my own expectations, I guess (Lol) … Nice art though.
One last thing: Am I the only one who is attracted, if not really intrigued, by the ape-like figure jumping by Beast Man’s side? The beard, the crown… Could they be reinterpreting Lord Choloh here? Perhaps Beast Lord? But my first guess seems more plausible. Whatever the answer may be, I am intrigued by this one.
