New Mondo 1:6 Scale Masters of the Universe BUZZ-OFF Figure Revealed at New York Comic Con

This past July at the San Diego International Comic-Con, Mondo revealed (via concept art) an upcoming 1:6 Scale Buzz-Off and Man-E-Faces figure.

Well today through a special New York Comic Con livestream, Mondo revealed the actual 1:6 scale figure of Buzz-Off. Check it out:

Totally redesigned from the ground up, Mondo briefly explained that their Buzz-Off represents a merging of many vibes of the fan favorite character, from the classic design to the 2002 Mike Young “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” series version.

Labeled as “Coming Soon” with a price “To Be Determined“, it appears we will have to do some additional waiting for Mondo to announce pre-order details for Buzz-Off… and wait as well for the reveal of the very anticipated Man-E-Faces 1:6 Scale Figure.

We’ll see you next time!

  1. More than I couldā€™ve ever hoped for. The paint job is absolutely phenomenal. I love how heavily inspired he is by the 200x series. The insectoid look of Buzz-Off and Webstor from the series is far superior to the Vintage look. Same goes for the Snake Men.Ā
This seems to indicate that Buzz-Off will be coming up for pre-order before the end of this year. Iā€™m very surprised to see him at the show. I figured that Evil-Lyn was going to be the next figure for sure. Itā€™s also odd that we havenā€™t heard anything about her since the original concept art was teased alongside Teela and Orko.Ā
@banthafett did you end up picking up a Faker today?Ā

    1. @smokinya yes I did get a Faker.Ā
I was too hoping for some evil lyn. With the variants they could do with her, she needs to get on that preorder list.

Nice I ended up biting on one as well. The half destroyed head sculpt and exposed chest were too cool to pass up on. I’m very curious as to what the timed edition Evil-Lyn will look like. I think you mentioned you’re a fan of the yellow skin of the vintage figure? I’m on the opposite spectrum myself. I’m really, really hoping they take some heavier 200x inspiration for her. I’m not a fan of the yellow skin myself. But I’m certain she’ll get a vintage variant especially considering the fact that Trap Jaw got a couple variants already.Ā
