Written by Move over Pop! There is a new figurine in town!
After two decades of memorable employment including the claim to fame that he originated the extremely popular Funko Pop! line, Chief Executive Officer Brian Mariotti finally left the Funko company in September 2023.
Now Mariotti is back with a brand new collectible company of his own called Thrilljoy.
Thrilljoy will initially offer three distinct product lines with an extra focus not just on product, but packaging. One of those lines will be called PIX!… and similarly to Funko’s Pop! line, these new collectible figurines will immortalize pivotal moments of pop culture history into plastic. And what is more pivotal than Skeletor from Masters of the Universe?
Designed with collectors in mind, PIX! reportedly redefines the unboxing experience with protective packaging that safeguards the product and accentuates its entire value. Dated 1983 and apparently inspired by the classic 1983 Filmation cartoon series “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe“, Thrilljoy will over three variant Skeletors in this new PIX! Line:
RAREST: (Disco) Skeletor PIX! Ultra Limited (only 24 pieces manufactured)
RARE: Skeletor PIX! Chase Limited Edition (production run unknown)
STANDARD Skeletor PIX! Standard Limited Edition (production run of 6,000 units)
The Skeletor PIX! Collectible figures will reportedly retail for $50 U.S. each and all three will be on display at the New York Comic Con from Oct. 17 to Oct. 20 at booth #1023 (with final release dates to follow.)

50 bucks GFTO. Also since when did Disco Skeletor exist in 1983.
For a similar look and $38 cheaper I think I’ll stick with funko. $50?? I don’t see a market for these
